deepindub rather heavy continues to introduce ears of INQB8R and its clients with dub's tendency. Personally I am listening those materials carefully and profoundly not trashing them immediately - before I've bypassed dub thinking that it is big synthetic and music without life.
If previous "Beach House 2009" release with beach theme has common idea and mood, then "Moving Shadow" after five listenings I do not understand (do not understand I like it or not as well) - so my above mentioned statement about this kind of music is still the same.
There was one moment when signs of life has appeared and my ears became more acute but then I realized that it depends on ambient conditions. Therefore, I want to say, that probably I can not find "suitable sofa" to feel comfortably with this music.
Besides, I don't like protractedly to "suck out" or extract message from release.
But I have to mention that overall the sound is mild, a lil' bit foggy and diffuse like shadows; don't like bit loops and bits itself - I suppose it frames the evolution of inside livings.

I wonder if it again comes from Saint-Petersburg. Recently I've read some comments on my russian webpage, saying New Composers ft. Brian Eno is not a Saint-Petersburg sound. So is this Saint-Petersburg sound? I guess yes, as well NC&BE's too... it's a city of many inspirations. But the secret is there are no limitations on "
Saint-Petersburg sound
". It could be everything.
I liked the sound of this release... it's some way concentrated and light at the moment, very atmospheric. It smells of SpB morning. I've listened through the recording few times per day and it didn't bore me. Still, it would need a mastering improvement of course.
But overall, I wouldn't say the recording inspired me a lot as well. In some moments I would mention a bit of peaks on the sound, which were going against my ears. Tracks are very similar to each other like the dedication to a very thin area, and in some moments I would want to hear more various feelings.
I think however these guys (or girls? :) have a lot of perspective to create something like "
Saint-Petersburg dub
"...
